4th of July

When we got there our table was the last one (furthest from the bathrooms, but closest to the fireworks, and still no potty accidents! Yay!) So Drew had fun doing laps around our table burning off some of the sugar he consumed (see further down for example of sugar intake).

My brother, Billy, Uncle Steve (my mom's bro.), and his girlfriend, Debbie deep in conversation.

Across the table sat my mom's Aunt Jeanie, my mom and Drew.

And here's the sugar...cotton candy. Drew takes after me with his love of all things sugary. It was so humid that thankfully a lot of that cotton candy dissipated into the wet air before it made it to his mouth. And of course much of it made it around his face (such as in his eyebrows) rather than into his mouth! Wasn't that fun to clean up. Luckily no one thought to make a movie of me torturing my son in an ATTEMPT to remove the cotton candy from his face!

After dinner we went over to the kids area to jump in the bouncy room. As soon as we got their they turned it off. Really. As soon as we got there he told us they were done for the night. I was definitely more upset than Drew. He just walked off and did something else. The had an ice cream truck, and all sorts of games for kids to play and win prizes. Here is Drew with Grandpa Brian, Uncle Sean, and Uncle Kevin on our way to the kids area.

Here's the guy on stilts.

And of course a few shots of fireworks.

We had a really great time and there was so much to do. Drew fell asleep in the car on the way home!

We are up in Vermont right now...Jim is working on Murray Street, and Drew and I are just enjoying the city of Burlington. We've been hanging out with old friends, we joined the library, and we went to a couple of music/dance classes.

Another offer was accepted on a house for us in Leonardo, New Jersey. It's a big lot on a dead end street in a great school district. Let's hope this one gets to closing!
